The 2005-2006 season of the Turkish Football Championship is the 48th edition of the Turkish Premier League which, from this season, takes the name of Turkcell Süper Lig. The 18 teams are grouped in a single pool, where each team faces all the opponents of their pool 2 times, at home and away.
Galatasaray SK finishes first in the championship this year. This is the 16th title of champion of its history.
