National Rugby Center Amsterdam

The National Rugby Center Amsterdam is a rugby stadium in Amsterdam. The complex is situated in De Eendracht sports park in the former Geuzenveld-Slotermeer district. All international matches of the Dutch rugby team are played at the NCRA. Also, the offices of the Dutch Rugby Bond (NRB) are located in the complex.

The plans for the National Rugby Center Amsterdam (NRCA) arose when the NRB's activities increased in the 1980s and 1990s so that the old office in Bussum did not fully meet.

The United States had the prospect of a new national rugby center in The Hague, Amersfoort and Amsterdam. After a lot of consultation and a few lobbies, it was finally chosen for the current location at De Eendracht sports park. The complex was completed in 1997 and was officially opened by the then state secretary of sport Erica Terpstra.

In addition to the Dutch team, the rugby clubs ASRV Ascrum and AAC play on the complex. The stadium is the stage for the final of the Dutch national championship rugby in the Ereklasse. The Amsterdam Sevens, a long-standing and internationally famous Sevens tournament, is also played in the stadium. The IRB Women's Sevens World Series is an international Sevens tournament that has been played at the NCRA since 2012-13. Amsterdam is one of the cities with Dubai, Houston and Guangzhou.
