Piedra Pómez is a Spanish humorous duo from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (Canary Islands). Piedra Pómez has starred in various programs for TVE in Canarias and Televisión Canaria, as well as on local television and radio stations in the islands. History
They met in the San Fernando High School, (La Laguna, Tenerife) in 1972. In 1986 the duo began preparing their program on Radio Guiniguada. Subsequently, from October 1990 to June 1991, they participated in the regional El Patio program. In 1993 they participate in the program Hora de visitas, on the TVE channel in the Canary Islands. In 1995 they participated in a monologue at the CICCA in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
During the Carnival of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1997, they participated in the Burial of the sardine and were the criers of the festival in 1996 and 2003.
