Henk King (soccer player)


Henk Koning (Amsterdam, 3 December 1934 - Diemen, 13 October 2009) was a Dutch footballer.

King began his career as a defender at AFC Ajax where he came to the youth training at the twelfth. He debuted for Ajax in the 1957/58 season. However, he would only play four games for Ajax and went to Go Ahead in the First Division in 1959. In 1963 he went to N.E.C. where he played 141 games in 1968 and once made a goal.

After his career, he went to Amsterdam in the garage of his father's work and still played with the amateurs of "Meerboys" (Amsterdam) on the side streets of the stadium De Meer. Erelijst Also see
