Siegfried (motorcycle)

Siegfried is a historic brand of motorcycles.

The company name was Siegfried-Werke, Kyritz-Priegnitz (1925).

It was a German brand that produced only one year motorcycles. They were 142cc two-stroke engines with DKW engine blocks.

The Siegfried-Werke started producing their light and cheap motorcycles at a bad moment. Just in 1925, more than 150 of these small companies disappeared from the German market. They used almost all built-in engines and had to compete against the larger emerging brands like Zündapp and DKW itself. As a result, they were sentenced to a small, regional clientele.
