The Bruckner Orchestra Linz (BOL) is the symphony and opera (music) orchestra of the Austrian city of Linz.
HistoryFrom Linzer Theaterorchester, transformed into a Reichsgauorchester in 1938, during the rebuilding of the Second World War, the Linzer Theater and Symphonieorchester, which was born in 1967 under the chief conductor Kurt Wöss, called Bruckner Orchester Linz (BOL ) received. Since then it has become one of the leading orchestras in Austria. Anton Bruckner, the orchestra's denominator, came from Upper Austria near Linz (Ansfelden in the Linz-Land district).
