The Nationalist Party was a political party created by Miter in 1862 as a result of the division of the Unitarian Party due to the disputes by the Federalization of Buenos Aires, contrary to the Autonomist Party, led by Alsina. It finished to exist when entering Miter in the Civic Union, that was against the government of the National Autonomist Party, alliance that would make Alsina and Avellaneda. The Civic Union would be divided, forming the National Civic Union of Miter and the Radical Civic Union of Germany.
