Pieter Schothorst (21 January 1992) is a driver in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0. He made his debut in the Suzuki Swift Cup in 2008 at the Coronel Junior Racing team where he is still active in 2009. His first victory was on October 26, 2008 at the Zandvoort circuit. In 2008, he finished as eighth in the final grade.
In 2009, Schothorst was supreme in the Formido Suzuki Swift Cup. With 6 wins and a total of 11 podiums, he has attracted the championship in sight in the last weekend. Last weekend, Schothorst was unable to participate because of a broken ankle that he had encountered in a Formula Ford car test. He has also made his international Autosport debut in the Eurocup Mégane Trophy. In his first race, he achieved a 8th place.
In 2010, Schothorst joined the Ford Form for the Van Uitert Geva Racing team.
After 2010, the Dutch & amp; Winning Beneluxe Formula Ford, he made the move to international car racing. In 2011, Schothorst appeared in both the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 and the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, for the French team R-aceGP.
