New Rico is a fictitious country invented by the Belgian artist Hergé who appears in The Adventures of Tintin. It would be located in the northwest of South America, having as a neighboring country San Theodoros, place where several of the adventures of Tintin are located, and whose capital would be the city of Sanfación (deformed form of the capital of Paraguay, Asunción). The country only appears in the album La oreja rota, where it has a conflict over an oil-rich territory with San Theodoros (based on the Chaco War that pitted Bolivia and Paraguay between 1932 and 1935). The country, whose form of government is a Republic (as it is said in the album), is governed by General Mogador. Your flag has a black background with three red stars.
