Operating aid system


An operating aid system, or advanced operating aid system, also known by its acronym SAE is a set of solutions that combine different technologies to improve the service and management of means of transport.

These technologies include a GPS locator, a central processing unit and a communications system with which to transmit the position of the vehicle to a control center in real time (or with configurable frequency). This information is processed in the control center where, through an operator console, decisions can be made about the vehicle's actions.

The applications of an SAE system are diverse; however, the management of fleets of vehicles, such as bus fleets, rental cars, delivery systems, etc. are particularly noteworthy. Through an SAE system, it is possible among other actions:
