José Antonio Marcos


José Antonio Marcos (Asturias, 1958) is a Spanish journalist. Biography

Degree in Journalism from the Complutense University of Madrid. His first professional steps were in the written press, joining La Voz de Asturias in 1978, where he became an Avisos de Tenerife, until in 1981 he began his career on the radio. In this environment he has practically developed his entire career.

In 1981, he joined the Cadena SER. A year later, he was assigned to the information services he serves today.

During that time he has been director of some of the most emblematic venues of the station, such as Matinal SER (1988-1989), Hora 20 (1989-1993), director of the weekend news (1993-1994) or sub-director and host of Hora 25 (1994-1996).

Since 1996, he has been at the helm of the informativo Hora 14, the midday news bulletin. [1]
