Second Moscow Conference


The second Moscow conference took place from 12 August 1942 until 17 August 1942. It was the second time that a conference took place during the Second World War in the Soviet Union

At the conference, the United States, the United Kingdom and the Soviet Union met to discuss the situation in the North Africa Campaign and the subsequent landing and opening of a new front in Northern France. < / p>

The United States delegate was Averell Harriman, while Prime Minister Winston Churchill represented the United Kingdom. The Soviet Union was represented by Joseph Stalin. Also see
