Integral yoga was developed by Sri Aurobindo. He published this version of yoga in the newspaper Arya during the years 1914 to 1921.

A form of yoga with the same expression "integral" was developed by Swami Satchidananda in the second half of the twentieth century to integrate various aspects of the body and mind, through a series of postures, breathing techniques , deep relaxation and meditation.
