Dima Halim Daogah


The Dima Halim Daogah (DHD) is the movement that claims the representation of the people of the Dimasa of Assam (India). Its headquarters is in Dimabong Halali. It includes Dimasa and young Karbi, in the districts of North Cachar Hills and Karbi-Anglong (Asam).

His ideology is progressive. It was created in 1993, and gained the support of the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (IM) of which later distanced itself.

It has a hundred fighters. In 1995 when the Dimasa National Security Force (DNSF) group surrendered en masse, the military leader of this group Jewel Garlossa and some followers joined the DHD.
