First Chamber Group

A First Chamber Group consists of one or more members of the Dutch First Chamber, which jointly operate politically and administratively, usually because they are members of one political party, and last elections took place on one electoral list.

The Electoral Act, however, does not have any groups. If a member of the Chamber decides to proceed only, so without the group or party, he or she can not be put in the way.

The constitutional amendment of 1983 stipulated in the Dutch Constitution that a Dutch national representative was elected without any hesitation or argument.
