Projection program.
The Salon indien du Grand Café was where the second took place (the first took place on November 1 and was carried out by Max Sklandausky in Berlin's Wintergarten) commercial film screenings, on December 28, 1895. The room was located at number 14 of the Boulevard de las Capuchinas, in the IX District of Paris, where the Café Lumière of the Hotel Scribe is currently located.
The first session was attended only by 33 spectators, but soon the demand exceeded the capacity of the venue.
