The Canarian Armed Forces (DAC) was a Canarian political terrorist organization, that acted during the decade of 1970 pursuing the independence of Canaries with respect to Spain. It was created, according to a report of the police, by a split member of the Movement for the Self-determination and Independence of the Canary Archipelago.
On January 5, 1978, 3 members of the DAC were detained for the abduction of a ship belonging to the company Naviera Armas, on the 2nd of that month.
