Reinout Carel of Tuyll of Seroos Churches


Reinout Carel Baron of Tuyll of Seroos Churches (Utrecht, March 25, 1798 - April 20, 1882), Heeze and Leende's Freeroll, 1843- was General Masters of the Mint of the Mint in Utrecht.

He was the eldest son of Jan Diederik of Tuyll van Serooskerken and heir to the Chateau Heeze estate. As his coin master in Utrecht, he left the castle to the other children, whose Ursula Adele Aurore of Tuyll of Seroos Churches would live the longest at the castle.

Reinout Carel graduated in Utrecht in 1823 with Prof. J.F.L. Schröder on a dissertation in physics and physics, entitled: Disputatio mathematica inauguralis de latitudine, ex observatis duabus astrorum altitudinis computanda.

He married Maria Agnes of Marselis Hartsinck (1796-1868) in 1825, but died childless.
