Zaza Gogava (in Georgian: ზაზა გოგავა) (born July 14, 1971) is a general in the Georgian army. He is the Chief of the Armed Forces of Georgia since November 2006.

Zaza Gogava graduated from the State Technical University of Tbilisi in 1994 and began his career in the special task force "Omega" of Georgian special services in 1995. He has participated in various anti-terrorism units and subdivisions of the Special Forces. Between 1995 and 2002 he received more training in the United States. In 2003, Gogava commanded the Anti-Terrorist Division of the Special Operations Center and in 2004, the Special Operations Division of the Police. He was appointed Commander of the Special Forces Brigade of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia in 2004 and Chief of the Armed Forces of Georgia in November 2006.
