The National Schifflange played commuted since the 1920s between the first and second class. Highlight in the history of the club was the country title in 1952. The club went on free to the third but could then limit the damage by becoming a champion and returning to the second class. But after two seasons, the club had to step back. In 2007, the club declined to the fourth grade.
