Mother Consuelo Barceló Pagés, also known as Joaquina María Mercedes Barceló Pagés was a Spanish nun who lived in the Philippines and founded the Congregation of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation. She has been declared Venerable by Pope Benedict XVI on December 20, 2012. She is in the process of beatification. History

Joaquina María Mercedes Barceló Pagés was born in Sarrià (Spain) on July 24, 1857.

He founded the Congregation of the Augustinian Sisters of Our Lady of Consolation.

He died in Manila (Philippines) on August 4, 1940 due to natural causes.

On December 20, 2012, Pope Benedict XVI issued a Decree recognizing his heroic virtues and giving him the title of Venerable.
