The Port of Davao is located as its name indicates in the city of Davao, on the island of Mindanao in the south of the Asian country of the Philippines. The port of Davao is composed of a diversity of ports, all within the Gulf of Davao, which is part of the Sea of Celebes. SASA Wharf is one of the largest docks in the port area and most active, being owned by International Container Terminal Services Inc., which also operates in the port of Manila and Subic port. The port of Davao is largely dominated by Cargo Containers, Raw Materials, general cargo and passenger traffic.
