Alexandre Sarnes Negrão (born October 14, 1985, in Campinas, Brazil), also known as Xandi, is a racing driver.
He made his debut as a pilot in 1998 in the Brazilian Karting where he remained until 2002, in his first year he was named champion of São Paulo. For 2003 Alexandre Negrão was signed by the Piquet Sports team where he participates in the South American Formula 3 obtaining 2 wins and 2 pole positions, in that opportunity he was third at the end of the championship. The following year he repeated in the South American F3 obtaining 10 victories (6 of consecutive form) and 7 pole position, obtaining in this way the title of champion in that category. GP2 Series
In 2005 he entered the first season of the GP2 Series to race in the HiTech / Piquet Racing team achieving only 4 points and finishing in 19th place among the 26 riders.
For the 2006 season he obtained 13th place in the general classification of drivers without achieving victories or pole position. In the 2007 season he competed with the Minardi Piquet Sport team, having as a partner the Spanish Roldán Rodríguez.
