Port of Dublin

The Port of Dublin (in Irish: Calafort Átha Cliath) is a seaport in Dublin, Ireland. It has both historical and contemporary importance for economic aspects. Approximately two-thirds of Ireland's port traffic passes through the port of Dublin. Recently the port and its land, mostly at the eastern end of Northside in Dublin, amounted to € 25 billion - € 30 billion. The modern port of Dublin is located on both sides of the River Liffey, at its mouth. On the north side of the river, the main part (205 hectares or 510 acres) of the harbor is at the end of the eastern wall and the north wall, Alexandra Quay.
