Vonda N. McIntyre


Vonda Neel McIntyre (born August 28, 1948 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American author of fantasy and science fiction works. She studied biology at the University of Washington in Seattle.

McIntyre's best-known work is the novel Dreamsnake, which won the Hugo, Nebula and Locus Awards. In 1994 she was given the opportunity to participate in a film writer project with a scholarship. She wrote the screenplays Illegal Alien and The Moon and the Sun. This final script she worked as a novel with which she drew her second nebula in 1997. The fantasy book plays in 1693 at the court of Louis XIV in Versailles.

Vonda has made a series of Star Trek movies, and Barbary and Dreamsnake has produced screenplays. Bibliography
