Zabel (company)

Zabel is a German company that makes side-punch-cross combinations with its own engine blocks.

Friedhelm Zabel was famous in one stroke as a side-sided crusher constructor when in 1980 the world championship was won by the German couple Böhler-Müller. He had the machine, equipped with a 980cc Yamaha block, prepared for them. Later Zabel himself built engine blocks, initially 685 cc two-cylinder two-stroke, later concentrating himself on all cylinders like all teams. Initially, this was up to 610 cc of maico blocks, but eventually he made his own engine blocks. Externe link
