The Flemish Association of Orthopedagogues, referred to as Vvo, is an association of interests in the form of an orthopedagogue associate. History

At the end of the 1960s, orthopedagogical students, mainly from the Catholic University of Leuven, joined a "VO.O.G.", the Association of Orthopedagogues and Orthopedagogically Interested. This association later became part of a group that wanted to reach the orthopedagogues from all Flemish universities: the current Vvo originated in 1981. Goal

These objectives, among other things, form the issue of the Flemish Journal of Orthopedagogics. This edition grew into a full-time magazine (broader objective than just "membership magazine"), partly due to the contribution of the "Flemish Scientific Association of Orthopedagogues", a group of academics in orthopedagogics.

The Flemish Society for Orthopedagogues also organizes annual seminars on themes that are current and relevant to the orthopedagogical field. Externe link
