Nocturia is an increase in the frequency of nighttime urination of urine, so it becomes more frequent to go at night than during the day. Etiology It is a clinical sign that accompanies numerous disorders, including heart failure, chronic glomerulonephritis, arterial hypertension, edematous syndromes, primary hyperaldosteronism, bladder or prostate disorders ( such as benign prostatic hypertrophy), primary polydipsia, Addison's disease, and diabetes mellitus.
