Bruno Leys


Bruno Leys is conductor of the Royal Scoutsharmonie Sint-Leo (Bruges) since May 1998. He followed piano, notecard and music history at the Conservatory of Bruges. He also plays guitar and saxophone.

He also followed the four-year conductor's course of Fedekam and was trained by Luc Van Acker and Dirk De Caluwe.

Bruno Leys composed several works for harmony orchestra: '1914-2014', '15' & amp; 'Midnight & amp; Morning ',' A Circumstantial Celebration 'and four works for harmonic orchestra with clarons and tamboeristorps:' After 10 Years', 'Scout Day', 'Saint-Leo 90' (in the context of the 90th anniversary of the Scouts group and Scoutsharmonie Sint-Leo) and 'Leo's Hornpipe'.
