A rabbit in Manhattan (A Hare Grows in Manhattan) is a cartoon created by Friz Freleng in 1947.

Bugs, who became an international star, tells of his Manhattan debut: During a walk to the library, he was attacked by a dog band led by Spike, a Bulldog.

The rabbit provokes him by jumping on his head and then kissing him, Spike bumps into a manhole where Bugs is a refugee and who closed this mouth. Bugs makes his description blow before messing it up with a food distributor. Spike falls from a building is hanging on a rope that Bugs is quick to loosen. The rabbit finally arrives at the library which turns out to be a trap set by the dogs, but a newspaper article informing that a new tree has been installed saves Bugs.
