The Dance of San Sebastian takes place every January 20 in Aldán parish of the Galician municipality of Cangas del Morrazo (Pontevedra) Spain, coinciding with the feast of this saint. History
The first news about this dance dates back to 1650 although it is estimated to be older. It involved 16 dancers, 10 men, 5 women and a guide.
The dance begins with the permission of the Saint and during the march there is a dance and a contradanza. The dance lasts an hour and ends with a muiñeira before the image of San Sebastián.
