The "Lincoln" cent, also known as the "Lincoln" penny, is a US penny coin, produced by the United States Mint from 1909. The obverse , the face of the coin, is in the effigy of Abraham Lincoln. The obverse and the reverse of the piece are the work of Victor David Brenner. The Cent of the Lincoln Bicentennial series was produced in 2009 and available in four versions.
