Anorexia athletica

Anorexia athletics is a form of anorexia nervosa. This subtype has been officially (not yet recorded) in the DSM psychiatric manual. Origin

Anorexia athletics is mainly for (expensive) athletes and people who do (daily) heavy physical work. It is common for sports where low body weight is often important, such as running, running, dancing, and so on, but also for amateur athletes, for example in gyms. Features

Anorexia athletics is characterized by the fact that the patient burns additional calories through physical efforts, but continues to eat moderately or even moderately. As a result, the additional burned calories are not supplemented or not enough and the patient will lose weight. This can cause underweight. When the patient regularly eats and compensates for this by exercising excessively often and extremely intensively or physically, boulimia athletics can be spoken.
