Frederic Geurts (Wilrijk, 1965) is a Flemish visual artist. Life and work
He studied product development in Genk. He has been active as an artist since the late 1980s. His work consists of monumental but very fragile structures. Since 2005 he is a lecturer at the PHL, Hasselt. He is leading a studio project about art in the public space. This is a project for the 2nd and 3rd bachelor students of Free Arts. In addition, he is a supervisor of the Masterstudio Arts and Public Space.
In 2009-2010 his first museum exhibition took place in Z33 in Hasselt under the name (Un) balanced. Publications
