The naissance d'un rêve (The birth of a dream, in French) is the second official album of the German band Lacrimas Profundere de Death / Doom. Unlike the first LP, this one has a better production of the instruments, as well as the improvement of the voice of Christopher Schmid and the technique of the rest of the musicians. It is the disc of Lacrimas Profundere that contains the longest songs of its history (arriving to surpass almost all the ten minutes) and its letters are in English, German (Lilienmeer) and Latin (Priamus).
