Gisèle (daughter of Louis le Bégue)

For homonymous articles, see Gisèle. Gisele was the daughter of Louis II the Stammerer, King of France, and Ansgarde, who married in 862.

His existence is known by an undated diploma from his brother King Carloman II, who gives away goods for the repose of the soul of "Gislae sororis nostrae ejusque uxoris, in comitatu Trecassino".

She married Robert I, Count of Troyes, but does not seem to have had children.

She died between 879 and 884, probably based on the date of her parents' marriage, between 17 and 22 years, that is, at an age when women often died in childbirth. p> Sourcemode the code
