Gudrun Okras


Gudrun Okras (Berlin, December 8, 1929 - July 23, 2009) was a German theater and film actor.

Okras debuted as an actress in the early 1950s at the "Berliner Vagantenbühne" and played for television while in the mid 1980s. She was featured in more than 50 film and television productions. Among the general public, she was known by her guest roles in Der Alte, Ein Fall für Zwei and Adelheid und Ihre Mörder (with Evelyn Hamann). In 2000, Okras received Jetzt oder Nie - Zeit ist Geld, with her colleagues Christel Peters and Elisabeth Scherer, the Ernst Lubitsch Prize. Internationally, she became famous by her role in the Dutch film The Twins nominated for an Oscar. filmography
