2003 World Athletics Final

The first edition of the World Athletics Final was held at the Stade Louis-II in Monaco on September 13 and 14, 2003. The men's and women's hammer throw competitions were simultaneously held in Szombathely, Hungary. the Monaco stadium is not big enough to host these two events. The World Athletics Finale follows the Grand Prix Final, played from 1985 to 2002.
