Renée Rienne is a murderer and spy who works with Sydney Bristow in the television series of Alias. Rienne is played by film and television actress Élodie Bouchez. Biography
Renee Rienne's father, Luc Goursaud, was involved in another part of the project, as a test subject for clinical examinations administered by Dr. Aldo Desantis. Luc accepted the prubas in exchange for a considerable financial contribution. It is unknown what type of evidence was submitted, but thirty years later, Desantis appeared in a cryogenic chamber with the same physical appearance as Renee's father. Probably Prophet Five experimented with Renee's father to develop genetic doubling trial techniques, based on Lehman and Vaughn's reports on the manuscript. Renee's father somehow discovered something about the experiments that scared him, and escaped with his daughter in Europe. Renee swore revenge towards Prophet Five.
Rienne is on the list of the 10 most wanted by the CIA. He worked in secret with Michael Vaughn for seven years. When he met Vaughn, he told him that his parents worked together for Prophet Five. Renee has been responsible for numerous crimes, including the murder of a Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs, the deaths of three CIA agents in Serbia and the theft of a cryogenic container from the Special Investigation Department.
Years later, Rienne stole a cryogenic container thinking that the man it contained was his father. When it was open, it turned out that Desantis was the doctor who worked for Prophet Five.
In the episode "30 Seconds," Sydney offered her a position in APO, but Rienne rejected it because she trusts very few people and feels more comfortable working for free. In a mission Rienne is killed by Anna Espinosa, who posed as Sydney.
