Boarding and storage module

The English Shipment and Storage Module (DSM), the Docking and Stowage Module, was a Russian element of the International Space Station that planned to provide additional storage facilities and ports of embarkation. The Shipment and Storage Module would have been used for additional storage and to monitor the Soyuz coupling, and would have been taken to the International Space Station in a Proton shuttle.

The DSM would have been mounted to the nadir docking port (facing the Earth) of the Zaryá module. It is similar in size and shape to the Zarya module.

This module of the ISS was canceled due to budget restrictions by Russia. It was quickly considered to replace it with a Multi Purpose Module (MPM) called Enterprise, but instead the Multi-Purpose Laboratory Module will now go.
