Dick Jol

Dick Jol (29 March 1956, Scheveningen, South Holland). He is a retired professional football referee, known for overseeing three Euro 2000 games. He was also a referee at the FIFA Club World Cup in 2000. He was also the judge of the final between Corinthians and to Vasco da Gama, that finished with triumph of the first.

He was also the referee of the Champions League Final between Bayern Munich and Valencia, held at Giuseppe Meazza on May 23, 2001. That final was won by the German club for penalty kicks.

As a matter of curiosity, before becoming a referee he was a NEC Nijmegen player, before moving to Belgium, where he was a player of several clubs, such as Menen, Berchem Sport and KV Kortrijk.
