Maypole was a hardcore punk band from Eindhoven that was active between 1994 and 2004. The band started as a student band but soon played punk and hardcore. Maypole, together with Urban Conflict (which split apart in 2002), formed a friendship group and was known as "the men of Eindhoven" early in the scene. They have lost that image a long time ago and especially their Burning in Water, Drowning in Flame record was received very well in the press. Maypole regularly traveled throughout Europe.
