Chief Machinist
In film and television, the chief machinist is the head of the machinery department on a platter.He ensures the movement of the camera with all the means provided to him and he ensures the safety of the film set. It is also he who pushes the dolly or gear like cranes during travellings assisted by his team, following the movements of the actors and the rhythm of the tour scene. Its activity allows the chief operator or cameraman to facilitate the shooting. He must anticipate and predict the proper functioning of the film so that his team can perform the work.
