Luis Iturri (Sevilla, 1943/1944 - Bilbao, May 4, 1998) was an actor and Spanish theater director, winner of the National Theater Prize, founder of the theater group Akelarre - in front of which he directed more than 25 productions - and director since 1987 until his death at the Teatro Arriaga in Bilbao.
On September 24, 1998, the Bilbao City Council paid posthumously to the director, before the first performance of Don Carlo, the penultimate operatic assembly in which Iturri participated, in Arriaga.
