Moulin Rouge (named after the French cabaret) is a Slovenian pop group formed in 1985 and composed since 1987 of the singer Alenka Šmid-Čena and the producer and keyboardist Matjaž Kosi. He achieved some international success at the end of the 1980s, including High Energy Boy in 1987 and Boys Do not Cry in 1988. The latter was re-released in Japanese by Wink in 1989 under the title Namida wo Misenaide (Boys Do not Cry), which comes out as a single and ranks first in Oricon in Japan.
