Simon Rozendaal (Katendrecht, September 8, 1951) is a Dutch science journalist.

Rozendaal studied chemistry in Delft and then worked at NRC Handelsblad, for which he established the science supplement. In 1979 he received the Glaxo award for his work. Since 1986 he is Elsevier's science editor. Rozendaal is an honorary member of the Royal Dutch Chemical Association. He presented a number of science programs on television and wrote a number of books, including The Largest Lexicon of Useless Facts (with Hein Meijers), It's My Body, Man, an Animal and the Great Good News Book.

On the Elsevier website, Rozendaal keeps a weblog, under the title "Know Indeed." Rozendaal is a climate critic. He participated in the special editions Climate and Evolution.

In 2004 he worked with Dick Thoenes co-author of the book of man-made global warming, unraveling a dogma, written by Hans Labohm. The book received varying criticisms: from very critical in the NRC Handelsblad to promising in the Algemeen Dagblad.
