Solidaridad Canaria is a cultural and political independentist association created in 1975 from a split of the MPAIAC. It emerged as an association in defense of members of the MPAIAC prisoners in Spanish prisons, together with the dissemination of the culture of the Canarian archipelago. Once this context was passed, his work focused mainly on the cultural field.
