Don't Belong was an independent hardcore / punk label based in Gijón, Principality of Asturias (Spain). It was created in 1994 by Uge, after the dissolution of Xunca Records and the distributor and fanzine No Flag.
Initially, Don't Belong was not a label, but a nonprofit distributor, linked to the mythical fanzine Antipoder and the CSA of Gijón. Later, Uge would compile the cassette "Discography Completa" of Disaffect under the name of Don't Belong Prods.
The distributor was being a complete success, and the volume of discs to move was increasing, due to the initial policy of moving material difficult to access in Spain. However, by the end of 1996, the five people involved at the beginning had stayed in one. Uge soon begins to publish discs inspired by his favorite labels, such as Nabate, Flath Earth Society or Profane Existence.
All of Don't Belong's albums emphasized the presentation, and limited editions for collectors were frequent.
Don't Belong disappeared at the end of 2002, with more than a dozen publications behind him. Uge created another label called Throne Records, focused on extreme metal. Bands Home
