History Antec Viale 1995

In 1953, the family Leenaars started setting up a company specializing in antenna systems. Pyros Dutch Antennaworks has invented and produced many television antennas for decades. With the rise of cable television, antennas became less popular and the company shifted its scope.

Antec began in 1984 as a divestment of Pyros. This new company began to work on developing drive systems for electric bikes. It was thought that in the future major traffic problems would arise and that the need for an alternative form of transport would increase sharply.

Antec originates from the electronics industry. The knowledge that Antec has gained in creating antenna systems is still the basis for the current drive system. The drive systems

In addition to electric bikes, Antec also supplies loose drive systems. The drive systems consist of a battery pack, a controller, a motor, a control unit, a trap sensor and a charger. Also see Externe link
