Chapel of Belem de Acampa
Belem de Acampa is an old neighborhood of the Mexican delegation of Xochimilco. It is located in the area of the head of the delegation and limits with the neighborhoods Santa Crucita, San Cristóbal, Xaltocan and El Rosario.
At its end is the chapel called Belem de Acampa built in the early seventeenth century on the remains of a pre-Hispanic temple and restored in the eighteenth. Another religious building is the temple and convent of San Bernardino of Siena located between the street of Hidalgo, Avenida Nuevo León and Ahuehuetes whose main nave was built by Fray Francisco de Soto. It has a plateresque façade dating from 1590 and renaissance style altarpieces with good images .
